Редактор. Был главным редактором журнала "Нэшнл джиогрэфик" [National Geographic] в 1903-54. Ему удалось превратить журнал Национального географического общества [National Geographic Society] в одно из самых популярных и читаемых изданий в мире. Президент этого общества в 1920-54. В настоящее время главным редактором является его сын Дж. Гроувнор [Grosvenor, Gilbert M.]
